The Lord Stones walk is a small route but has a lot to offer in such a short distance. There are panoramic views of Middlesbrough, Roseberry Topping and Cook’s Monument. There’s a steep climb over 100 metres on the return section that joins and follows the Cleveland Way back to the Lord Stones Country Park.
The stone circle was only erected in 2013. The name Lord Stones comes from one singular stone, that marked the land boundary of three lords.
